Stewart Sokol & Larkin's bankruptcy practice is an outgrowth of our representation of surety and insurance companies, as well as our involvement in business and commercial matters. We have counseled and represented creditors in bankruptcy courts throughout the United States on issues ranging from the priority of claims to issues involving the assumption and rejection of executory contracts. The firm has extensive experience with adversary proceedings to avoid discharge of debtors and to ensure that the liens of our creditor clients are not avoided.
Complementing the firm's bankruptcy practice is our experience enforcing creditor's rights. Our collection practice focuses on enforcement of judgments, structuring of repayment plans, and foreclosure actions. Our attorneys are well-versed in Uniform Commercial Code Article 9 matters and lien priority disputes.
